theeglasschild asked: i have been having a problem with really dry dead hair and a few weeks ago i bought a product neutrogena makes. it's called split end mender, it's a part of the triple moisture line they have and it works great. i actually put it through my whole head of hair because it was so dead and it helped smooth and heal my hair. they say you can put it on damp or dry hair but i do it while my...
bikinireadysomeday-deactivated2 asked: Any tips on stopping hair from splitting? I have 6 weekly trims, don't use heat on my hair, use lush shampoo. I was wondering if there was anymore I could do? xx
abumblingfool asked: I wondered if you could send this question out to the knowledgeable people on here!
I've been colouring my hair red with Lush henna and have finally tired of it. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I'd ideally want to go blonde, but bleaching over doesn't work. Is there any way of fading it faster than full on growing it out? Or is it safe to dye over with a darker...

pencilsandbrushes asked: Hi there,
I have a very important question.
I'm looking for a hair serum for my split ends.
I've tried so many things but The biggest part of them makes my hair greasy, so I don't want any oil treatment. I'm looking for something like Redken extreme anti snap (which I'm using now). The thing is that redken does help, but I'm looking for something...

Mane N' Tail
I saw a post where someone asked about Mane N’ Tail, and you said you were unsure. I’ve been using Mane N’ Tail for about 4 weeks now (along with a multivitamin) and I’ve noticed a boost in my hair’s growth rate.
xkira asked: "My hair grows pretty fast and I keep it pretty natural besides a daily sparing dose of light styling gel but if course I want it to grow faster. How well does horse shampoo/conditioner work (like Mane & Tail shampoo/conditioner)? And what would the effects be if I used hair growth treatments meant for ethnic hair on my half-Asian hair? Would it work as well or better?"
welcometotheisleofmisfittoys asked: A few things. I have naturally curly hair. I never liked it much so I straighten it. I don't do it everyday, I wash my hair every 3-4 days. My hair still grows really slow though. I was wondering what some good hydrating shampoos are and what vitamins I could take for healthy hair growth. I want to get my hair length down to my waist

sailmate-deactivated20130208 asked: hello! I am a hairstylist and I use Pravana's 3 step stripper. it has keratin and you can use it multiple times without any damage! I've made a women with dark burgundy hair go to a light blonde in a day. always remember that if you're dying over stripped hair use a lighter color then what you want because it'll turn out darker.
itsamberlee asked: When you used Color B4, did it remove the color evenly/ didn't have dark spots/ etc.?

Over a year ago I cut 10 inches of my hair off. I regretted it instantly, actually I hated it so bad I have almost no pictures of my hair down.
I started letting my hair grow out the day after I got it cut, I wash it every other day (I have extremely oily hair and it needs to be washed every day). I don’t use anything special I brush before I shower, wash, rinse, then leave conditioner in...
aspookylittlegirl asked: Hi Anna,
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is there no way of removing bleach from your hair? I was looking at using Color B4, but it said that it couldn't restore hair that's been made lighter...
I really don't want to just dye over it because it's only two sections of my hair. I already dyed over it (and the rest of my coloured hair) in november when I...

alwaysandforeverhere asked: Doesn't your hair have less volume at the top of your head once you let it grow long? How do you prevent that?...I would hate to see my hair stuck to my head:(

My progress in 5 weeks
I am a dirty blonde and have been lightening my hair for 12 years, except a short stint when I went very dark brunette. (That was strange!) I’ve been dying it pink, purple, blue for the last two. I had waist length hair when I was 16 and have always regretted cutting it off. I have cleaned up my lifestyle a lot and want to get away from putting chemicals on my head and grow my hair long...

mimblewimble asked: Ooh, I need help! I've been debating with myself for YEARS whether to grow my hair out or not. It's just, my hair is so curly, I don't think it would look good long. Any suggestions? This is me: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v41/katie10659/photos/Sparkle_by_ChibiChan8512.jpg
love-all-that-glitters-deactiva asked: Hi Anna, can you recommend something quite light to keep the ends of my hair from drying out between washes and do you have any tips about which hairbrushes are best to use to minimize damage and breakage?

cheshireblue asked: Hey Anna!
I was curious as how you go about using oil in your hair. Do you put it in at night or something? When I apply the oil to my scalp it makes all my hair look so greasy and is difficult to wash out, and I don't even use that much,
Any advice?

why should i go for sulfate free shampoo?
A sulfate free shampoo is a shampoo that does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). SLS is also known as sodium laurilsulfate or sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS or NaDS0). It is a popular chemical in commerical hygiene and cleaning products. The chemical is particularly useful in applications where the removal of oily residues is needed. While the sulfates used in hygiene products have not...
sugarmercy asked: aaaaaahhhhh!!!! So glad I found this blog! I, too, am a proud daughter of Rapunzel. My hair really started to grow healthily when I stopped straightening it/killing it slowly with a flat iron. I have naturally curly/wavy hair, and now that I've left it that way, I get a ton of compliments on both my curls and length. Other than that, I only comb it with a wide-toothed comb when soaking wet; I...
