So, I have been hearing lots of buzz about co-washing. How it is SO much better for your hair compared to washing with shampoo. I have seen this tip on so many forums and YouTube videos that I felt like I need to repeat a few hail Mary prayers, because I was still using shampoo every wash… But when I try something new, I am ALL about the results!! So, did I notice a difference? Drumroll, please… I did.. NOT. It felt the EXACT same as when I wash with shampoo. The time I really noticed an immediate difference? When I deep conditioned AND did a hot oil treatment at the same time. Huge difference! Detangling was pretty effortless. So effortless it almost made me forget I was going natural.. almost. :) I happened upon it by accident because I didn’t have enough hot oil so I slapped some deep conditioner on there and let it stay for about 30 minutes.

QUESTION:Does co-washing take a while before showing results?

I am seriously just figuring out tumblr. I didn’t know I could post pics!! :D So, pictured here is me and my new little kitten roxy. My hair is a roll and set with air dry. I love my oversized bow headband. I get compliments on it all the time. And stares.. lol! I take those as compliments as well. haha! You’ll be seeing way more pictures since I just figured this out. SO EXCITED!!!!
