A few years ago, I had waist length hair and I decided to get my whole hair braided for the summer to get it off my face. When I finally took the braids off, DISASTER ! About 10 inches of my hair were completely broken !! So I had to get my hair cut SHOULDER LENGTH ! I cried so much ! But now my hair is as healthy as ever and it’s back to waist length, I’m so happy ! My goal is to get it hip length !
My hair growth journey…Just thought I’d share :)
Picture 1 and 2 is from when my hair was last cut in August 2012.
Picture 3 and 4 is from 12th Oct 2013.
I had my hair down to tail bone length when I was 15, leaving my ex I cut it all off, grew it a little and then cut it all off again (pic 1 & 2) I’ve only had 1 trim since August 2012 and that was the 1st Oct 2013 (I’m trying to fit more in)…I wash it with Simple shampoo when needed, use a detangler when wet and try my very best not to use heat on it.
I think it’s in good condition…not in excellent condition but I’m starting to use egg hair masks and I’m trying to grow old hair dye out and switch to henna/my natural hair colour.
My goal is tail bone length/hip bone length and I hope it grows quick :)
This was for Naturally Curly’s Wear Your Hair Curly Day on August 14. I loooove using Dutch braids to get bohemian hair, and I found out that if you fold up the tassels instead of letting them hang straight like normal, you don’t get Suddenly Flat Ends!
Sorry about the yellow light—it was in my bathroom. :P
My friend Laurence has amazing hair! She usuallwears it in a braid but had this picture taken for me to post here :)
My bohemian hair from a couple weeks ago. I’ve been growing my hair since late 2011, and it should be waist-length by December or early next year.
